Road Bitumen Emulsion is a cationic bitumen emulsion consisting of a dispersion of bitumen in water.
It is a homogeneous, low-viscosity liquid that, unlike hot bitumen, is fire- and explosion-safe. It provides increased heat resistance and elasticity at low temperatures, as well as excellent adhesion to mineral aggregates.
It can be applied in damp weather and to wet surfaces. Contains no organic solvents and is environmentally friendly.
During road construction, the bitumen emulsion is evenly distributed as a thin film less than one millimeter thick and significantly improves adhesion to mineral aggregates.
Appointment
Road Bitumen Emulsion is used:
- as a primer before asphalt paving;
- for the production of cold asphalt mixtures;
- for surface treatment of road pavements;
- for the application of thin protective road surface layers;
- for pothole repair.
