Where necessary, the surface should be desalinated, dust-free and degreased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\"><strong>Concrete surfaces:<\/strong> The surface must be cleaned and free of dust. The moisture content of the concrete must not exceed <strong>4%<\/strong>. Fresh concrete should be cured at 20 \u00b0C for <strong>at least 28\u201330 days<\/strong> before coating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preparation of the Enamel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Before use, the material should be conditioned at <strong>20 \u00b1 2 \u00b0C for 24 hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Thoroughly mix the enamel base until homogeneous, add the hardener and continue mixing for <strong>at least 10 minutes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The mixing ratio of the base and hardener must be determined according to the <strong>certificate supplied with the specific batch of material.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">If necessary, <strong>EPO-R thinner may be added in an amount not exceeding 5%.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The application procedure also specifies an induction time after mixing of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>10 minutes at +25 \u00b0C;<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>30 minutes at +10 \u00b0C.<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The pot life of the mixed composition at 20 \u00b0C is <strong>at least 1 hour.<\/strong> Pot life decreases as the temperature rises and may also be shorter when the material is mixed in large quantities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Procedure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Apply the enamel to the prepared surface using <strong>airless spray equipment or a brush.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During application:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\">ambient temperature: <strong>+5 to +35 \u00b0C;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>relative humidity: <strong>80 %<\/strong>;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\">substrate temperature: at least <strong>4 \u00b0C above the dew point.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">For outdoor application, the application procedure also recommends dry weather and a wind speed not exceeding <strong>10 m\/s.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The next coat should be applied after the previous coat has dried. At 20 \u00b0C, the product description specifies an interval of <strong>24 hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Putting the Coating into Service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>This stage is particularly important for tanks intended for contact with food products.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before putting the coating into service, allow it to cure for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>10 days at 20 \u00b0C;<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>30 days at 15 \u00b0C.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">After curing, wash the coating with cold water containing <strong>3\u20135% citric acid.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drying time may vary depending on air humidity and ventilation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\"><strong>Do not force warm air over the coating until the solvent has completely evaporated,<\/strong> as this may cause a surface film to form and prevent solvent from escaping from the coating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Storage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Store in an enclosed area protected from direct sunlight and moisture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Guaranteed shelf life:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>enamel base (Component A)<\/strong> \u2014 12 months from the date of manufacture at \u221240 to +35 \u00b0C;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>hardener (Component B)<\/strong> \u2014 6 months from the date of manufacture at +5 to +30 \u00b0C.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Safety Precautions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">The material is <strong>flammable.<\/strong> Do not use near open flames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ensure good ventilation during application and use rubber gloves and appropriate personal protective equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Avoid ingestion.
