UP-583D hardener is a condensation product of formaldehyde and phenol with diethylenetriamine.
Applications
Hardener UP-583D used for cold curing of all types of epoxy resins, including in high humidity conditions and underwater.
Also applicable to epoxy primers, paints, putties, varnishes, and adhesives.
The obtained materials have high dielectric properties, high chemical and water resistance. The coatings withstand sharp thermal shocks from +60 to −60 °C without loss of strength.
Advantages
Hardener UP-583D has significant advantages compared to hardeners Peppa and diethylenetriamine according to such indicators:
- mechanical strength of the cured compound;
- toxicity;
- water resistance;
- sanitary and hygienic indicators.
